Eligibility Criteria

  1. Candidates should have successfully completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognised university
  2. Candidates in their final year of graduation exams but are awaiting results are also eligible for MASCOM Entrance Exam.

MASCOM Entrance Exam Pattern

  1. The MASCOM Entrance exam consist of a written test and personal interview round.
  2. Medium of instruction: English (However, limited seats are also available for admission to candidates who wish to pursue their career in Malayalam journalism)
  3. Questions paper will consist of topics from English, General Knowledge, and Journalism.
  4. After qualifying the written test, the candidates are required to appear for the interview round. Candidates clearing the interview round can secure a seat at Manorama School of Communication in the journalism courses offered by it.
  5. The final result will be announced at the end of the interview round.

For PG Diploma in Print Journalism Course
The test is conducted in two sessions. The first session test the language ability and journalistic skills of candidates whereas the second session tests the general knowledge of candidates, informs a college official.

For PG Diploma in Broadcast Journalism Course
The question paper for Broadcast Journalism course contains two sections of total 100 marks. First section tests the language ability of candidates, and the second section tests the journalistic skills.
