KUCTE B.Ed Entrance Exam is conducted by the University of Kerala for admission to B.Ed Degree courses in Govt./Aided/Self-financing Teacher’s Training colleges within the state of Kerala.
N.B.: 3% Seats will be reserved for PWD Category candidates.

KUCTE B.Ed Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria
- There is no age limit for candidates applying for KUCTE B.Ed Entrance Exam.
- Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in all the three years of graduation from a recognised university or institution.
OR
Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in post graduation in the concerned subject.
Eligibility for different optional subjectsEnglish: Candidate should have successfully completed their graduation in English language and literature with an aggregate of 50% marks.
Malayalam: Candidate should have successfully completed their graduation in Malayalam language and literature with an aggregate of 50% marks.
Hindi: Candidate should have successfully completed their graduation in Hindi language and literature with an aggregate of 50% marks.
Arabic: Candidate should have successfully completed their graduation in Arabic language and literature with an aggregate of 50% marks.
Tamil: Candidate should have successfully completed their graduation in Tamil language and literature with an aggregate of 50% marks.
Sanskrit: Candidate should have successfully completed their graduation in Sanskrit language and literature with an aggregate of 50% marks.
Other subjects are Geography, Commerce, Social Science, Natural Science, Physical Sciences and Mathematics.

KUCTE B.Ed Entrance Exam Application Process
- Candidates can obtain the application form from the colleges that they would like to join. The filled in application form has to be submitted with all supported document.

- Xerox copy of the SSLC as a proof of DOB (Self-attested)
- Xerox copies of the marksheets of all parts of the qualifying examination (Self-attested)
- Xerox copy of Degree/Provisional Certificates
- Xerox of Reservation Certificate (if applicable) (Self-attested)
- Xerox copy of Domicile Certificate
- Xerox copy of NSS/NCC certificate (if applicable)
