KUCTE B.Ed Entrance Exam Reservation of Seats in Aided Colleges

  • Open Quota: 55% (Forward Community Colleges) and 45% (Backward Community Colleges)
  • SC: 15% (For both Forward Community and Backward Community Colleges)
  • ST: 5% (For both Forward Community and Backward Community Colleges)
  • Community Quota: 10% (Forward Community Colleges) and 20% (Backward Community Colleges)
  • Management Seats: 15%
N.B.: 3% Seats will be reserved for PWD Category candidates.

KUCTE B.Ed Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria

  1. There is no age limit for candidates applying for KUCTE B.Ed Entrance Exam.

  2. Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in all the three years of graduation from a recognised university or institution.
    OR
    Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in post graduation in the concerned subject.
Eligibility for different optional subjects
English: Candidate should have successfully completed their graduation in English language and literature with an aggregate of 50% marks.
Malayalam: Candidate should have successfully completed their graduation in Malayalam language and literature with an aggregate of 50% marks.
Hindi: Candidate should have successfully completed their graduation in Hindi language and literature with an aggregate of 50% marks.
Arabic: Candidate should have successfully completed their graduation in Arabic language and literature with an aggregate of 50% marks.
Tamil: Candidate should have successfully completed their graduation in Tamil language and literature with an aggregate of 50% marks.
Sanskrit: Candidate should have successfully completed their graduation in Sanskrit language and literature with an aggregate of 50% marks.

Other subjects are Geography, Commerce, Social Science, Natural Science, Physical Sciences and Mathematics.

  • SEBC: 5%
  • OEC: 5%
  • Blind Candidates: 5%

KUCTE B.Ed Entrance Exam Application Process

  1. Candidates can obtain the application form from the colleges that they would like to join. The filled in application form has to be submitted with all supported document.
List of supported documents
  1. Xerox copy of the SSLC as a proof of DOB (Self-attested)
  2. Xerox copies of the marksheets of all parts of the qualifying examination (Self-attested)
  3. Xerox copy of Degree/Provisional Certificates
  4. Xerox of Reservation Certificate (if applicable) (Self-attested)
  5. Xerox copy of Domicile Certificate
  6. Xerox copy of NSS/NCC certificate (if applicable)
